Boniface
Boniface's high age puts him under a great deal of pressure to convert the Frisians on this last journey. Two previous journeys have failed. This time he must succeed, it is his last chance.
Boniface is a solemn old man, still bearing a great sense of power despite his age. He is an educated and proud man, who sees his faith in the mission as the only truth.
The power he bears inside is tremendable, but when he puts it to use for his twisted desire to convert, he unleashes a storm of destruction.
Gregory
Gregory’s every act and thought is based on transmitting compassion for all living creatures. He is very devoted to his Lord and the Lord’s work.
It is his first journey to Frisia and he is open to the beauty of this other culture. His open view and small posture are in stark contrast to his grand, old master.
Gregory has a strong sense of justice, but he feels subordinate to his master, for who he has a great deal of respect.
